Cantho Ancient market was built at the same time with the two famous markets of Ben Thanh and Binh Tay in Ho Chi Minh City. Belong to Ninh Kieu Quay Complex with one side faces the river, the ancient market used to have very good condition for developing trading on the water way. Nowadays, the ancient market is renewed (but its original structure is reserved) to sell souvenirs. This place was recognized as provincial historical – cultural relic in 2012.
