Phong Dien eco-tourism festival opens in Can Tho

On September 22, People's Committee of Phong Dien district in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city held the opening ceremony of Phong Dien eco-tourism festival at Nguyen Phuong Danh park , Phong Dien district, Can Tho city.

The festival is held from 22 to 25-9, is a response to the World Tourism Day (27-9), with many activities on the shore, the river: re-emerging floating market, racing row boats, fruit art show, traditional folk show, drop flower lights...The highlight of this year's event is the main activities: the opening ceremony, the parade of electric cars and motorcycles, the re-enactment of the floating market, the performance of the amateurs, the tourism booth...

At the opening ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of Can Tho People's Committee Le Van Tam emphasized that Phong Dien should continue to promote propaganda and promotion of tourism products, traditional craft villages, historical and cultural relics, Phong Dien's products come to domestic and international visitors; To exploit the potentials and strengths in tourism, to intensify the attraction of investment with focus and focus, to create a healthy and competitive tourist environment; To build, preserve and promote tangible and intangible cultural heritages, orienting tourism development planning in line with the city's socio-economic development planning; Train the team to become more professional, flexible, and friendly. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Phong Dien District and its sponsors donated 40 bicycles and 20 gifts to poor pupils and families in the district.
