Vingroup on Saturday inaugurated a five-star riverside hotel in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho to meet the growing demand of tourists there.

Le Khac Hiep, vice chairman of Vingroup, said Can Tho is an attractive destination for visitors thanks to the exotic riverine culture of the Mekong Delta.
Located between Ninh Kieu wharf and Cai Rang floating market, Vinpearl Can Tho Hotel is the first five-star hotel in the city, with 262 rooms, a ballroom able to accommodate 500 guests and three meeting rooms.
Located along the Can Tho River, the 30-storey hotel has a Chinese restaurant, a bar and a buffet restaurant, as well as a swimming pool. Vincharm Spa at the hotel has eight health and beauty care rooms.
According to Can Tho’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the province has 245 lodging facilities with more than 6,800 guest rooms. This year, the city has attracted 5.3 million travelers. International visitors accounted for nearly 258,400, rising by 25% year-on-year.
The city’s tourism sector is expected to generate revenue of VND1.8 trillion this year.
