Was born in Cantho and be recognized as a great poet in the late of 19th century, Bui Huu Nghia Valedictorian (1807 – 1872) was an intergrity, talented and virtuous civil mandarin who was fully respected by local people. He experienced many ups and downs of life with heroic and thrilling stories. Admiring Bui Huu NghiaValedictorian’s merit, local people built up his grave and have been culting until now.This place was recognized as national historic relic in 1994.
